We documented the Eugene Marathon with a focus on what makes it unforgettable: the magic of the finish line at Hayward Field and the raw, human details that unfold over 26.2 miles. Rather than a distant, polished race story, we leaned into proximity: puke, sweat, cramping quads, and emotional release after an OTQ.
